I tend to pick up a phone on a lot of things for the simple reason that 99% of the time the manufacturer will know the answer better than anyone else (exclude Aquarium Pharmacuticals from that).

I especially do this if it what I have heard, read, or been told could mean discontinuing use of a product I like.

Old thread revived. Sorry, but I have an update.

This place is great!! I searched because I've bought a couple of Glade Flameless Candle by Wisp. They're quite a new design, and I saw the notice on the pack like the OP.

I took Enchanted's good idea and called SC Johnson and spoke to their man, John. He said "as long as they're not within four feet of the tank, then it will be fine".

Better safe than sorry, though, so I'll place one upstairs and the other in another room no closer than 18 feet (6 meters) away. If I get any problems, I'll report back.

I have heard reports of the "puffer" style ones killing off fish when placed in the same room.

I have a smelly old dog and use them occasionally to mask the aroma when I have guests so will chuck them out now!

chucking out the guest's is abit harsh, don't you think!!
