i have two corydoras, two kissing gouramis, two pictus cats, two golden sucking loaches, two flying foxes. They are in a fifty gallon tank planted and furnished with bogwood and a rock cave. can you give me some ideas on fish to get.would anglefish be ok.

Maybe a loach of some kind, yoyo's would be alright in that sized tank and there really peacefull fish, I love mine

How about getting more cories to go with the two you already have? Cories are shoaling fish and like a group of at least six.

Btw, flying foxes get a bit intolerant towards their own kind with age, you might want to consider removing one. Unless they are Siamese flying foxes of course, also known as Siamese algae eaters, for these like company.

Hello Ryan :)

I'll go along with the suggestions about adding more corys. It is better for them to have the company of others of their own kind. While two is better than one, it really is best to have a group of them, and you have the space to do it.

Corys are delightful little fish and you will only see their true playfulness when they are in a small school.

Id remove at least one of those gold sucking loaches too, they are just a colour morph of the infamous chinese sucking loach :hyper: Personally i have no problem with sucking loaches, unlike some people who think of them as vermin but they dont like their own kind and in time two will fight.

BTW dont add anyfish under 2" to the tank, pictus cats are quite predatory and small fish like tetras will be late night snacks

angel fish need a tank with space for their height.

i recently added a gold ringed butterfly sucker to my tank - hey are great fun to watch and very attractive - maybe remove a loach for one of these.

xxx good luck xxx
