I tried keeping my girls together, but they are too aggresive. So, I can't say. If they are siblings and raised together they should get along. But, once they get conditioned for breeding, the females become aggresive so the dominant female can breed with the male.

well they will be all sisters and i sorta want an even number... so it would be 2 light coloured 2 dark coloured or 3 of each... oh and im not planning to breed so its all good

I have 5 in my 20 gal, so that would work out to 2 and a half females in a 10 gal

I think somebody said 6 females is the magic number for a ten gallon but I really wouldn't keep more than 4

i have 4 in my 10g but iv heard of haveing anywhere between 5-6, id go with 5 to be safe
