Fyi, Ginga rubras are guppies and no endlers. Unfortunately, the commercial trade has labeled them as being endler or even endler hybrids. This is an incorrect information. The creator of this strain is Kenjiro Tanaka and he has told in the past that a wild guppy strain has been used but not an endler. Despite of the fact that a pure endler is a wild guppy, it differs in DNA from Poecilia reticulata, Poecilia obscura, Poecilia kempkesi and Micropoecilia species.
