40% water change + half the r/dose of m.blue + 0.3% Aqualibrium Interpet Aquaruim Salt added.......

Gouramis behaving well, gonna give em a bit (a lil bit) of a feed l8er... but so far so good.... furry bits gone....

Just an update -

The Gouramis are looking better, feeding, but still not quite right.
Today is the last day of medication and will be doing a 40-50% water change tonight along with putting carbon in the filter.

I will be letting it settle for a few days, with daily water changes and then see how things progress.
If they look entirely better i will treat them with Melafix before returning them to the main tank.
If not i will look at something stronger - I was recommended by the lfs to use something called Sycroxin for anti-parasites i cant remember the exact name, not sure if thats correct??
Evedently Malcalite Green is not sold on its own in the UK, as its too strong, but there are M.Green based products available....

What do you recommend Ken? im pretty sure they are some kind of parasite? or maybe a bacterial infection, but i dont think so......

Also, do you think a UV Sterilier would help (in the main tank)?

Hi , just an update........

Things have once again taken a turn for the worst.....

Ken, if you could have a look at this thread (which is new) if you could, just so you could recommend some anti-parasitic meds and hopefully advise as you so brilliantly have done in the past
