Gibbiceps Tank Size?

clowns wont eat algae, the only out and out plecs that have a good go on algae are pitbulls and BN's... you could get probably about 4 comforatbaly in that size tank.

Your not really supposed to buy a plec becasue you have algae, finding the source of the algae is always a much better option and try to solve it that way, tbh if feeding a plec sounds like effort then having one isnt for you, they need target feeding just as much as any other fish in an aquarium.

royals also get big too but they are lovely looking i have a L191 dull eyed royal only about 5" they are alot slower growing than commons there is tons of plecs to go for have you seen pitbull plecs i like these they look like a x between a pepper cory and a bristle nose female lol

Well i know the source,and my plec has a all you can eat buffet in my tank hence why he has grown 5" in 2 months! lol

they get plenty of scraps from the cichlids but specialised feeding just for one fish when there are so many Cichlids ready to steal it is not really a option in my tank.

Dont get me wrong I think my Gibbi is a awesoem fish,hes got good character but my tank reall needs a Plec.

If I knew this,do you think i'd be saying this? As far as i knew they ate what the other fish ate and algae as well (as most websites state), And hence why my Gibbiceps has magically grown 5 inches in 2 months (from my awful neglect)
