You are on track. My Eclipse 3 gallon tank has over two dozen juveniles ghosts. Will move them all to a 10-gallon planted tank soon enough.well shrimp hardly add much too the bioload, so it appears 1 per gallon or 1 per 2 gallons is good. But I am just making this up now
