What is an ideal GH level for a pond containing Koi, Rudd, Orfe, Shubunkin and Goldfish?
My GH level has dropped from 9dH to 6dH due to lack of water changes over christmas.
Should I be looking to higher the GH level a bit?
A test kit that I use which tests for GH states that a GH of 10-15 dH is recommended to keep biological processes in tick. While the API GH test kit states contradicts this to some degree.
Any opinions?
