As i said in a previous post i've been given the go ahead for a new tank, i have had many discussions with the misses and we've settled on a 5ft long, 2ft high and 18 inches wide tank. now we need to find one the misses likes  It needs to be on an oak cabinet, maidenhead aquatics have a nice one but is there anyone else out there who makes tanks on oak cabinets?
help please, i may never get one else.

How about buying a cabinet or having one made you like then getting the tank made to fit. A lot of companies out there doing custom tanks. Depends on the budget but a solid oak cabinet isnt going to come cheap anyway. :)

ND Aquatics ;)

Google search them.

You won't go back. A few member son here have tanks from them and we've all been very impressed. hamfist has one, you can see his in his journal in New World Cichlids. You can see mine in my Jack Dempsey Journal also in the New World Cichlids section, also in my sig.

Cheers for the replys guys, iv'e checked out ND aquatics and although nice tanks misses wants solid oak, yes i know it's going to be expensive but it's the price i have to pay
i might have to go for the piece of furniture and a tank to fit as a last resort.

I would go for one of the ones at MA to be honest for a solid piece of oak furniture your not going to find it much cheaper. They often have offers on them as well so just keep your eyes out :)

Maindenhead Aquatics in Modern? If so I go there and I think I know what tank your talking about! With the wine rack? Very very nice if so!!

That tank is a beast!! Very nice mate. If you don't mind me asking, how much do they sell that for?
