hi i'm gurly my mollie has gave birth to fry on labor day now she is pregnant again. i have reason to beleive that she has crossbread with a platty !!! ANY WAY i was wondering when does she stop getting pregnant from my platy because i would love to breed her with my other moly platinum he has beatiful specaled scales . becuse right now all her fry are cream. so when will she stop givin birth to the fry of "flame" so i can start trying to breed her with platinum.

they can usually store sperm for 6 months so it might be awhile

guppies mollies etc... (females) most of the common livebearers can store spern in sperm packets therefore they only need to breed every once in a while (not so good for the male)

if you breed the female to the male right after
she drops the new males sperm will be used in stead.

i think that if she breeds with a new male that male's will be used as well as the stored sperm. atleast that would kinda make sence.
