German gold rams

Hello! I’m new to the forums so bare with me[emoji4] I recently got 2 German gold rams and I’m trying to see which gender they are. I’ve read you can tell by their dorsal fin but I’m just not sure, any help is appreciated

Going by the fins, the fish in the top pic could be a female or a young male, the bottom pic the fish looks like a male. However, if you wait a month or so and keep them well fed, the females will get a pink sheen to their belly and the male won't.
