Just got so many questions just now.

I want a breeding pair of german blue rams. Are they easy to sex?

i wouldnt say they are easy to sex but basically what your looking for is female has a pink belly and male has a higher dorsalfin.

ya, almost all cichlids will have a difference in the dorsal fin... males having a much longer and pointy dorsal and anal fin, while the female has a shorter, more rounded dorsal and anal fin. This is really the only universal rule that can be used throughout the cichlid family

I think another way to tell is to look at the black spot on the side. If it's plain black it's a male, if it has blue specles in the black spot, it's female.
