German Blue Rams With Cory's?

Can GBR's be kept with most species of corydoras? Reason why im asking is because of temperature differences, but didn't know if GBR would be tolerant of cooler temps... (specifically the panda cory)

Alot of people on this forum swear they have to be kept at higher temperatures, others say not.

I've currently got a german blue ram with panda cory sitting at 25c.
Can't say the same for all rams though, i'm soon to try it with another.

I have 5 GBR's in the same tank as 6 Corys. Temp is at 26-27c

All seem well.

Me to I have 6 peppered corry'sin with my two german blue rams and its all good. temp sits around 26. Been like that for about 6 months

essjay is correct. sterbai corys tolerate higher temps very well. i used to keep them with discus.

yeah i would go with the sterbai if your tank is big enough, they do grow a little larger (i think?).

they can grow to a max of about 6.5cm i think.

Ive never really had a problem with corys at or around 80-82 F.

Thanks all for the comments! I have a 20 gallon that im soon going to set up with gbr which is why i was wondering about the panda cories (not as large as sterbai cories) hence i was planning on stocking with a male and female gbr and then 6 or so panda's...

Yeah same reason i went with the panda cory, my tank is about 20g, i currently have 1 gbr with 5 panda cory (fighting a mouth fungas at the moment).

not to mention the bright colors of the gbr have a nice contrast with she sharp black and white colors of the panda cories..giving a nice sense of balance color wise

On a black sand would be very nice, abit expensive though.. i'm currently using homebase playsand, it's a little darker then argos.
