Wht about the dwarf cichlids? The really multicolored ones? Are they soft or vicious little gits?

not sure exactly which ones your are reffering to but I would guess maybe Apisots, something like the 'Cockatoo' cichlid?

with your current pH none of them should pose a problem, and I wouldn't class any of them as "vicious gits". However, as with all cichlids they can have moments of aggression, but I doubt they'd even give a second look to the rest of your current stock.

Go for the bolivians. Arent as pretty, but like the temp you have it at and are a lot hardier.
