hey does any1 have any links to genetics pages about bettas. cause im really interested to find out all the dominant and recesive genes for colors, diseases and anything alse genetic related

thnx hey i didnt know that albino bettas where the rarest of all! the fish shop i get my bettas from has one .. I think i will get it if its still there i hope it is

Yes, albinos are quite rare. I just want to add that in most lfs, white bettas are not actually albinos. Albino bettas have red eyes, and white (opaque) bettas don't. If your lfs really does carry an albino betta, I'd definitely pick him up

I think it is because the betta was like sortof a see through white.. is that an indication of it being an albino too? btw its 12$ is that preety good for an albino?

does it have blakc eyes? if it does have black eyes it woudl just be a white betta not an albino one.

there are see-throughish bettas that arent albinos. i have one-he has black eyes.
