It's driving me nuts that I cannot tell if my cories are male or female. Right now, they're 1/2" long. Any tell-tale signs aside from the female becoming rounder as she becomes older? Will I be able to tell by the time they're all 1"?

Nope. But they don't eat their fry so you can pretty much just throw in a handful and expect them to breed with a little coaxing.

There's four of them in right now (not enough room for additional fish). What are the odds they're all male? lol I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are or at least do not breed any babies until I get a 5-gallon tank set up!

There is a one-in-eight chance they will all be males or they will all be females. Hence there is a seven-in-eight chance that you will get at least 1 of each sex.
