With my baby, she eats about 6-7 pin heads a night. Her diet also includes that of meal worms, about 6-7 as well. She doesn't eat both the crickets and the meal worms in the same night, I vary her diet. She also gets a treat about once a week, a big fat juicy wax worm. She gets that after she eats some either meal worms or crickets. They are very addicting (

) and very fattening (again

).
You can not leave un eaten crickets in with Geckos, the crickets can pick at the geckos toes and tail and can cause harm.
They do not jump out at me when I open the container and never have found a cricket in my bed, trust me.
We went on holiday this year, to Jasper for a little visit and she watched over my frogs, she managed to lose about six in the house. I found 3, the cat ate 2 and never found the last one. That is the only time I have ever lost crickets. I do what MAM suggested about the egg crates, just pick one of those out of your container that you keep them in and shake it into the tank. Works like a charm!
If you really want a gecko, you will over come the nasty feeling of having those creatures in your home, trust me!
