hi my baloon molly got smth on her eye...its more then on top of the eye or between eye and skin, hard to say. it looks like a little bubble, her eye seems to be a little blur...her mother died from bubble similar to that(dont know if its the reason as she was old, but after bubble flaped fish died), but it had on her back...should i put aeration to max? to reduce presure? tank cleaned 4 days ago(symptom apears today). amonia 0 nitrite 0.1 nitrates 20(fighting them after calamanus treatment) ph 6.5-7... any sugestions?

prob no cure, long drawn out death, pop eye/cloudy eye usually a sign of poor water but it could have got a cut infected, could be wrong its just my best guess from your loose description. balloon mollies are creations, hybrids - they'r destined to have complications.

can it be that water too clean? after calamanus worms i have had a paranoia to keep as clean as posible...maby i clean too much tho. gonna do some tests tomorrow to check water again. it might be an effect after treatment...like side effect, as i treated with dog/cat dewormer as other medicine cant rid of the calamanus. beware of these worms they are a nightmare :S

oh yea, and sorry for my english...i am trying my best :p

The water can't really be too clean, but it can be a problem if you change too much of the water too quickly. Almost definitely not the cause in this situation.

bought some meds for bacteria and fin rot(cures fin rot, pop eye etc) (used it 5 days) - done water change, aeration at max to circulate all water....- problem solved!

Camalanus worms can be treated with bird wormer containing Levamisole Hydrochloride. I used Harker-Verm. Just for future reference.
