I would do a 80% water change and don’t put the hose in the water. Let it fall in like a waterfall so gasses can escape.

Well, if you is a bucket then scratch my suggestion above. Do the bubbles float off when he moves? It must be painful.

No, they’re literally under the fishes scales and the fish looks like it’s going to pop which is why I’m thinking if it does not get better soon the best option would be putting it down.
