Todays news is...

that mollies and guppies don't like grapes. I even pealed the wretched thing for them! You should see the reaction - they acted like it was a piranha egg or something

Cherry barbs were no more impressed.

LOL!!!! i once tryed finging apples to my golfish cut it into tiny pices they ate the juice but not the apple was very odd!!

Actually, I never even thought about grapes before. Have you had success with grapes and any species before?

Er... nope.
But I worry my fish don't get a sufficiently varied diet and since venturing into the fun world of mollies, I've been trying to get a little more adventurous. I gave them some courgette/zucchini last night. It was from my friend's garden and had bolted, so didn't taste good. I thought the fish would be less fussy since it's a food they usually go for, but even the snails rejected it!

How do I tell my friend that even the snails won't eat her produce?

I'm with smb i've also never heard of grapes. I feed my fish frozen food as this contains everything they need they also love it. I add a bit of blackworm once a day as a treat.
