i have four young syno multis two large one and two small 2 inch ones but they are all very young
you suposed to keep em in groups but when i do so they just fight
the tank is just about big enough for them when they are young (60 litres) but they are being rehomed into a 110lirte tank in a few weeks will this stop the fighting what will happen when they are all fully grown

As you are probably aware, they are going to reach around 8"-10" so the 110 litre will not be big enough long term.
As with most catfish, they need plenty of caves so that they can create their own territory. If you don't have enough caves, the chances are, the fighting will continue.

there are many caves but one seems dominant whenever

they will not reach 8 inches atall mine will only reach 6 inches at the most the largest adult in the shop was 7 inches and the dudes at the store saod they ouldnt get bigger than that
some kind of smaller hybrid i dont know but im sure they will no get bigger than 7-8 inches

It depends on whether they are hybrids or not. Did they give you an actual name?
Even if they do reach 6", they will still need a bigger tank in the long term.
Because the tank isn't big enough now, they haven't got enough room to create their own territories. Even with plenty of caves, they still need their own "space".

If it is a hybrid, then you can't be sure that it will only reach 6". The only reason the size is questionable is because you said it was a hybrid.
You may also find by the links you posted that they come from Lake Tanganikya and do better in that kind of set up.

this is ture but i i have a tanganyika set up i cannot 'mix and match' between tanks if you understand
because cichlids dont mix with fish like my neons and bp tetras
i didnt know much about them when i bought tem like 6 months ago but there eyes were so bi gin the shop it was impossible to say no lol
im sure you must have felt the same way about other fish

also i canot aford to setup a tanganyika setup, cichlids are for when i get a job lol an can pay 30 for one fish lol my hyrid only cost me £8 each and but i paid the same for a more pure one ( but he likes to turn black quite often ) haha it was a bargian
i love the hybrids
they seem to be hardier i keep them at ph 7.2 when most suggest 7.6 - 8

but you inquired about the size of the fish, saying they would get to 9 inches before i said anything about them being hybrids haha owned

You sound just like my teenage daughter! :p
You may want to read the post again before you "own" me.
Regardless, whether 6" or not, they will still need plenty of room to create their territories.

haha your funny

make sense cause im a teeneager

lol
um so where does it say they're hybrids above your fist ?
