I disgree. Id say they are bivalves. Ive seen them in an aquarium store LR bin. Off live rock, they can reach plaque proportions. Im not sure whether they are neccessarily a bad thing, because they do filter feed, but they can visually be a pain. Without a better shot or yourself making a better description by removing one, it would be hard to search for an ID, im already having trouble finding what Im thinking of.
