i wouldn't recomend it, can cause a no. of problems...

i'd stick with the usual flake, pellets or live/frozen foods

Sure, any fish will eat another fish if it's big enough and can catch it, but these are not piscavorous fish so I don't see the point.
 
I knew that any fish can eat another fish that can fit in their mouths, but taking it, it isnt healthy, Ill stay away from it.
 
My friend is going to breed convicts, one of the hardest fish to breed, almost impossible, what when the jewel gets big enough can I feed it convict fry? If so how big?
 
I think that's taken by the oscer, shark, many SW....The list can go on.
Depends on how big the fry are. The term 'fry' is used quite generally from the time of birth, till the age when they can be sold as 'juvinile.'
As long as it can fit in its mouth, or is smaller than its mouth. There's not much of a book or a rule you can go by.

I am joking, why would I be so sure I cna use them? Thanks for the replys, now I just have to wait for the fry.
