Okay well YAY! My female had a batch of fry: Ares. And When I woke up in the morning there were 4 or 5 remaining. 1 got eaten right in front of me. The other I think was eaten. And then I saved 3 and put them in a 2 gallon with a heater. I gave them cooked egg yolk and some powdered fish food. I will be going today to get a breeding box for taloolah and Ares aswell probably, seeing as she is still fat, and I am expecting her to continue dropping throughout the day. I would like to save more than 3 this time. 2 are eating well, then the third, well she sort of tries really hard to push herself up to the top, then just sinks back to the bottom. I don't think she has gotten any food yet... Any suggestions for her? Or is she doomed...?

It is okay. "She" was just born. It is still feeding off the yolk sack it has. After a while it will realise when it's feeding time.
What kind of livebearer is it anyways?

EDIT: Never mind. Guppies.
And if you don't know which I'm fairly sure you do, she will have babies around every month or so.

i use liquid fry food a tiny drop on the surface of the water and it slowly sinks to guarantee all fry will get food

okay great! And yes, they are guppies. I just went out and bought a breeding box, and I put both females in. One thing I do not understand, why are there holes at the very bottom? Couldn't the fry just swim all the way down into the tank?

the holes or slits at the bottom allow some fresh water in and old food to drop out, they shouldnt be big enough for the fry to fit through as one side will be narrower, also i dont know if you have had fry before but your bredding tank water should be changed at least once maybe twice a day, all's i do is very slowly lift the breeding tank up until most of the old water is out then gently lower it back in just to stop your water fom going stale also allows more oxygen in, hope this helps :D
