What foods are accessible for "GUPPY"(not that it matters) fry?
1 Any particular types of vegetables? I've heard of Frozen Blood worms and BBS.
2 How does BBS work? How to hatch and such.
3 Can blood worms be fed to fry?
4 When I crush my flakes in a small platic bag, and float them in the tank, they don't seem to eat it. It'd eventually drop down into the tank right? Then they eat it from there?
5 How do you force feed fry.
6 I'm cheap, I don't have lights, would an outside desk light work for fry? (Not that I don't care :/ )
7 How many hours can the desk light be left on?
8 At what age can they be fed normal flakes?
9 At what age are colours usually developed?
10 At what age are males able to *you know what* and what age do they grow the gonopondium (Iono how to spell this)
11 How many times do fry have to be fed?

Why am I asking this many questions? To clear up the many threads I was going to make xD.
PS; I attend college, so I can't feed the fry many times, is this bad? I usually would be able to feed them; in the morning (7 am) after school (4 pm) then (7pm) then (10pm). That's four times. Is that reasonable?
PSS; Help is much appreciated :p

I'll try to answer some of your questions. :D I've added my answers in bold.

What foods are accessible for "GUPPY"(not that it matters) fry?
1 Any particular types of vegetables? I've heard of Frozen Blood worms and BBS. I've heard that cooked (and cooled) crushed peas work well, but I've never tried it.

2 How does BBS work? How to hatch and such. You purchase the eggs, put them in a container with water and some salt (non iodized), attach and air pump and wait. A good article that uses a canning jar can be found here DIY Brine Shrimp Hatchery

3 Can blood worms be fed to fry? Yes. I use the freeze dried and crush them finely to feed to my fry. They love it!

4 When I crush my flakes in a small platic bag, and float them in the tank, they don't seem to eat it. It'd eventually drop down into the tank right? Then they eat it from there? Yes the flakes will eventually drop to the bottom, but they may not be eaten. Sounds like your fry are being picky or aren't quite old enough for crushed flake food (usually about 2 weeks or so is when I begin introducing crushed flake food). Keep an eye on your water stats if the fry aren't eating their food. The uneated food can cause havoc with your stats. If they don't eat it, I use a net to remove the extra food to avoid problems.

5 How do you force feed fry. I don't think you can. :/

6 I'm cheap, I don't have lights, would an outside desk light work for fry? (Not that I don't care :/ )I think that would be fine, but I've never tried it myself.

7 How many hours can the desk light be left on?I usually turn mine on in the morning and shut them off at night. It works out to roughly 12-14 hours of light.

8 At what age can they be fed normal flakes? I'm not sure, I still crush the flakes for my adult guppies as it helps them eat the flakes better.

9 At what age are colours usually developed? It really depends on the guppy. Some develop faster. I think it's at about 2 months of age on average.

10 At what age are males able to *you know what* and what age do they grow the gonopondium (Iono how to spell this) Again, it depends on the fish. Some develop faster than others. It think the average is around 2-4 months, but I'm not sure.

11 How many times do fry have to be fed? I feed mine anywhere from 4 to 6 times a day.

I think so. :D

I hope that helps a bit. If I got any answers wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me. :D

I feed my guppy fry Liquifry from day 1 then move onto Hikari First Bites or Nutrafin Baby Fine Flakes from day 3 feeding 4-6 times a day,i change 25 % water every other day and they grow rapidly.I do also belive they will grow very slow if you have dont have sufficient lighting..sounds daft but i know that fry really struggle finding food in the first few days and a bit of light keeps them constantly active and makes it easier to find food,I know you have a desk lamp but i really dont think it will be enough tbh
Yes will agree with Guppy mommy on 2 months for colour strains
I think the rest is just preference for people, some prefer live foodsBBS,Daph etc etc, others dried blood worms so on and so on

I'd like to add that the desk light most likely gives off heat (and probably more than a regular fish light) so I would keep an eye making sure its not making the water too warm, along with the heater already in the tank.

well thats not always true some lights are made so they dont get to hot

Well I hope I can help you

What foods are accessible for "GUPPY"(not that it matters) fry?
1 Any particular types of vegetables? I've heard of Frozen Blood worms and BBS. You can feed them crushed blood worms. They love it. I do that with my fry. They can be feed baby brine shrimp without being crushed.
2 How does BBS work? How to hatch and such. BBS can be hatch very easy. They sell hatching kits.
3 Can blood worms be fed to fry? Yes if you crushed them enough.
4 When I crush my flakes in a small platic bag, and float them in the tank, they don't seem to eat it. It'd eventually drop down into the tank right? Then they eat it from there? Well over time fry will be able to know how to eat more easier as they get older.
5 How do you force feed fry. You cant but they will eat eventually because they dont want to starve to death.
6 I'm cheap, I don't have lights, would an outside desk light work for fry? (Not that I don't care ) I dont use lights on my fry tank and they have no effect on them. About them not finding food without lights, they are still able to. With there sense of the lateral line they are able to sense were the food is and be able to eat it. Such fish as that of the murky water of the amazon use this technique.
7 How many hours can the desk light be left on? Since I assume it is not a planted tank you should have them on for no more than 8 hours.
8 At what age can they be fed normal flakes? When the fry have a big enough mouth to eat the flakes
9 At what age are colours usually developed? I have had some fry beggining to develop colors at 2 weeks old. Maybe that is because I use Vita-Chem in my water.
10 At what age are males able to *you know what* and what age do they grow the gonopondium (Iono how to spell this). At early as 3 months of age fry are able to spawn and have babies
11 How many times do fry have to be fed? Well I feed my fry 2 times per day. But a large portion(as much as they can eat in 5 minutes). But many recommend from 4-6 times per day.

Glad I was able to help

Thanks everyone.
Do corner box filters strong, so strong that they suck fry in?
Is it common for some fry to die after birth? Cos' i had 15 now im down to 2 ==" I thought maybe cos they were starving or somehting cos the aquarium is cycled and since the LFS didnt open until today... They dont seem to like to eat the crushed flakes. With the bought fry food, are they powder like?

Okay; this question is irrelavent to the thread, but here goes, is it a 100% that after a female guppy gives birth, in a matter of weeks, say 1 month, they will drop again? I'm devastated at my fry loss.

EDIT
Well today, I went to buy some fry food, but the LFS didn't have any BBS. There were freezed dried blood worms and Nutrafin Fry Food. The lady recommended the Nutrafin Fry Food, so I bought that (very expensive =="). Well, I didn't want my fry to die out, so with the remaining 2 fry, I put them in a 1 gallon with no gravel, no filter (considering the KIS corner box filter was kinda big) but a small airstone and a heater. The heater is adjusted at approx. 26 degrees celsius yet the thermometre shows 82 farenheit. Is this a reasonable temperature? Anyways; how would I feed the powder food to the fry? Put some on my finger and dip it into the water? How do you know when the fry are eating it? Do they hover close to the food that's slowly dropping? (their mouths are small, really hard to see if they are eating it><")

Contents on Nutrafin Fry Food:
Nutrafin Fry Fry diet is an extremely fine powder to provide a highly nutritious first food for all newborn lievbearer and egg layer. NutraFin Food will provide the many nutrients required for rapid growth and development in all tropical fish fry. Feed small amounts often. Do not overfeed. To prevent water fouling, water change and regular aquarium maintenance is high recommended.

So as the contents show, it recommends water changes often, how much a day? 1 gallon so 10%-20% of it?
