Fry Tank

Hi

I need to set up a fry tank but i don't know how to set it up. when adding filter media from my main filter how long do you have to wait before you can add the fry

When I set up my fry tank I add a tiny bit of media when I add the fry, then when they grow add more and more media, as if you add the lot of media straight away most of it dies back, as the fry have such a small bio load,

You don't have to wait at all. Actually you shouldn't wait as after a certain period of time the bacteria starts to die off
