good news! about 15-20 ct eggs have hatched and are now free swimming. yesterday they were laying on the ground to day they are swimming...? well there are still about 100 unhatched eggs... i will remove them today.

well that is excellent!
luvmybettta.com does alot of 'artificial' hatchings where she removes the male.

You may want to ask her about that - it might just mean that she lets those that survive, do - so any that fall early prob would not, but those that stayed in the nest may.
