I have read some conflicting stuff about tubifex worms - some say that frozen ones are fine and others say that even the frozen ones can bring disease? Can anyone help clarify this?

I once bought tublilex worms frozen mine didn't care to much for them so haven't bought them since, I buy tubilex freezedried they seem to prefer them freezedried variety, if you don't feel safe using the frozen type maybe get the freeze dried variety.

Don't know what fish you have, but none of mine will touch them, not even a nibble. The frozen ones should be safe to put in your tank, but if left uneaten as in my case, then yes they could cause desease.

Hmm - I've actually bought some frozen, but I think I'll take them back and swap for bloodworm, which I know my guys lurrrve!!

Thanks :)
