Hello.
I've noticed that a large percentage of posts in the "New to the hobby" section are to do with cycling a tank. Also ive noticed that trying to interpret peoples test results for ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, pH etc etc... can be quite difficult when they are always shown in different ways or spread across several pages of a post.
Although i'm very new to the forum, i'm hoping to contribute something that would help all beginners when cycling their tanks, and help you fish boffins to interpret our readings and measurements easily when we come crying to you for help .
It's only a start (im planning on updating it when i get some advice), I hope you can see what potential this could have, and contribute ideas that would improve this spreadsheet. I'm no genius when it comes to excel but i do have some understanding. If any of you are experts with excel I'd really appreciate your help.
Please take the time to download and try/test the spreadsheet. I'd love any constructive criticism you lot can throw at me. Anything at all! What could be added? should anything be taken away? Is it rubbish? I want you criticism!
Sorry, I cant host my own files.
To download, go to the link below, wait 10 seconds, then click the download button. When the file is downloaded you will need to extract the .zip file by right clicking it and extracting it.
