From Slate To Bogwood

Im changing my tank from slate to bogwood and i have sold off all my fish and next week when my tank is settled down im getting a breeding pair of german blue rams then adding another pair each month over the next 2 months so i will have 3 breeding pairs

for caves i was going to use half clay plant pots will these be ok ??
