if you only have turbo snails then i would get some cerith snails and nassarius snails. they will eat lots of algae and other crap in the sand

it came out a lot more tonight after i turned the lifghts off. it seems the polyps have turned white and prpobably the reason they are not coming out in the light. how or even can i reverse this.

ok update. the brown alge is almost all gone. taken out by the snails and skimmer. the frogspawn was visible in the day after a long time and is getting its green colour back. some success at last. i am feeding it regularly to give it more energy .
