Frogs

I have seen several questions about housing frogs with bettas. I was thinking of getting a couple to go in with me bettas and I am so confused as to which kind will work (their names are so close) My walmart has albino frogs. Are those Dwarf or clawed? and if they are dwarf are those the ones that are compatible? I feel like my boys need some company and this is the only option I can think of?

im sure that albino frogs are normally clawed frogs so there a no no.

if you can get look at the frogs look and see if there is webbing between the finders the dwarf frogs have a webbing do

Albinos will be african clawed frogs, avoid these as they eat fish when bigger. The ones suitable to live with bettas are african dwarf frogs which are rarely albino. Clawed frogs have hands like claws with no webbing. Dwarfs have webbed feet. Do a google search for pics, Clawed frogs also come in brown though so be careful what you buy.

I just bought my first dwarf today, it was the only one left or i would have got 3. He's in his own 2.5 gallon tank and has been named kermit by my boyfriend. He's eaten loads of bloodworm so he must have been starving.

Thanks so much for your help. Snails are not an option for me, as I CANNOT stand them. They have overrun my tropical tank, and no matter how hard I try to get rid of them I just keep getting more! They seem to cause more of a mess than anything. I know my lfs has brown frogs too, so I will check their feet. I am moving all 9 tanks to school on Sunday, and after that I will be free to buy more, since I don't think doing that now would be wise, as I already have 20+ bettas to move.
