I currently have 2 albino african clawed frogs around 4 inches long within a 15gal tank. I just want to ask whether this is ample room for the frogs to continue living happily and mature to their full state.

There is a lot of contradictory information on the net. One site has mentioned each frog needs at least 10gals. while another has said that up to 15gals can house 4 females or 6 males

Any information would be much appreciated

Please Help!

i havent had much experience with african clawed frogs but i can tell you that my old bio teacher had two in a 10 gal, only half full with rocks that came out of the water a little and a few floating plants, she had had them for at least four years and they were slimmy and happy :) sorry i cant really tell if that was ample space, or decoration, all i can say is that they seemed happy.

African Clawed Frogs are completely aquatic so they only pop their heads out of water to breath.

My current setup has thick vegatative borders, some driftwood and an airstone. They seem to have loads of room (I regularly cant find them) but who knows.

Between 4-5 inches with a livespan of 10-15years
