Fritz Turbo Start

So, I watch Coralfish12g on youtube, an american youtuber who many of you will be aware of. Every single tank he does he adds Fritz Turbo Start and literally adds fish the next day or in some cases even a few hours later. Is this product that good?
we don’t seem to get the Fritz products very easily here in the UK.

I should have added that this is to brand new tank set ups with no beneficial bacteria in the filter

Never seen him test water

In that case, take what he says/does with a pinch of salt. He may believe the product instantly cycles a tank but he doesn't prove it.

We do not have any of the data, as @Essjay mentioned. For example, a large tank with small or few fish, or a tank with live plants, might seem to get through the cycling...but ammonia, nitrite and nitrate tests are needed. The GH, pH, temperature, etc also factor in, along (obviously) with the level of nitrifying bacteria in the source water used. Without knowing all of this data, it is impossible to say more.

From the evidence of scientifically-controlled tests and analysis, the only product that will immediately cycle a new aquarium is Dr. Tim's One and Only, and this works only when the directions are followed to the letter. All other bacterial supplements do not immediately cycle, though some of them may decrease the time taken for the cycle to establish by a few days at best--cycling is normally two to eight weeks, variable because of several factors that can be involved.

just something to add, I've also seen SaerpaDesign add this to his tank. I can't imagine it's a bad product considering the care that he gives to his animals. I bet plants also play a huge role, considering they essentially do the same thing as the Beneficial bacteria.

Worth bearing in mind that both Coralfish12g and SerpaDesign have videos that state that the Fritz products "were provided with a paid promotion by Fritz Aquatics".
Not saying they don't work though.

Carson's Aquatics adds a whole bottle of API quick start to his tank and waits a day... He cares for his fish a lot and I've never seen them die right after adding them or anything...
