Livestock: Lionhead Cichlid younsters (Steatocranus casuarius)

Reason for Sale: "Mum" has done a great job raising the brood, now ~3.5 months old, who now need more space
Delivery or Collection: Collection only
Sales price: Free (given they are brothers and sisters, would be better to get males or females from me and find life long partners for them elsewhere, to prevent inbreeding)

These African riverine fish need slightly different conditions to many fish... 22-24C, moderate-high current (~8-12x water volume turnover per hour), good aeration, minimum ~24"x12" of floorspace per bonded pair. They are VERY protective of their young!

Livestock: Golden Wonder Panchax male youngster
Quantity for sale: 1
Reason for Sale: Cannot be mixed with old trio (would be killed by "dad")
Delivery or Collection: Collection only
Sales price: Free... As long as you can provide him with a 90cm+ long tank long term, 22-26C, gentle-moderate current (~6-8x water volume turnover per hour)
Postage & Packaging: n/a

SO18

Please note that these killifish are predators with deceptively large mouths. As he gets older and bigger, small torpedo-shaped fish will be considered food.

Sunday would be much better for me, as I have work tomorrow (us posties start earlier on a Saturday) and I've already got commitments before the typical "jet lag" feeling kicks in after the bodyclock change! ;)

Sounds quite a tank, a 6x2x2 for small fish, what else have you got in there besides your 15 Pearls?

hello sundays fine with me just let me know what time (pm me the address and post code)

i've got a few guppies
a few platties
25 neon tetras
10 black neons
cuple of penguen tetras
15 pearl danios
10 zebra danios
10 leppord danios
4 clown loaches
and corys ( albino, pepper, bronze and Emerald green )

run by a eheim pro 3 thermo 2180

Danios and Loaches provisionally reserved for "mussels" (about to PM details).

Fish collected by "mussels" this morning, albeit we had a nightmare with the Pangio doriae, who seem to be able to burrow into the tank's sand as quick as they can swim in the water (so only partial success with these)!
Nice to meet you, good luck with the fish and baby Rabbit Snails in the monster 6x2x2 peaceful community.

So its the Lionhead Cichlid fry remaining, plus a beautiful young male Golden Wonder Killifish, who is pretty much the same age as the Lionheads and is ~4cm SL. He only came out of the breeding net last night for the first time and he has amazing colouration for a young killi, but I fear I can never introduce him to the older trio, as "dad" would almost certainly kill him.

Still looking for new homes for these youngsters, any not spoken for in the next day or two are going to LFS. Some (low quality) photos and video clips have been added, please excuse the tank mess, wanting to keep the algae for when my Panda Garra and Chaetostoma youngsters are moved over ;)

Golden Wonder collected last night, now just the Lionheads left. Any not collected by Wednesday evening will be sadly taken to LFS :(
