I don't have any corals, just to clerify that to anyone before they start to worry.

Anyways I was wondering how one goes about the process of fragging a coral. How do you know when they are able to be fragged? How is the process done, etc. etc.?

Joel.

Cut it up and stick it to some rock :)

it depends on what type of coral ur going to frag

General rules of thumb: Scalpels/knives along with rubberbands and plasti bins for softies, and chisels, superglue gel, and marine epoxy for LPS and SPS

Most of them will release mucous when cut or fragged. When the coral is "ready" to be fragged again depednds on the type of coral. Most softies can be fragged often while SPS and LPS usually have to wait till they appropriately branch before fragging.
