So i have a big pair of bullseye mushroom corals and i figured i should frag them... Being my first time i have ever cut up such a thing, i didn't want to do it to the whole colony... I took the one that had several other mouths on it, carefully cut the bigger one away(they were splitting nautrally) and then cut it into twos. Then i placed it in a tupperware container and put some mesh over the top... Then, my 65 watt 10000K light cut out. Leaving me with only my blue actiate... Then on top of that $40 light being broken, i found out that the ballist is the problem.. there goes another $100 down the drain. Now the main colony isn't expanding.. It's still shriveld... This is three days later.. Then i went to the LFS to get some hermit crabs for the tank and one of them they gave me didn't even have a crab in it!
I have the best of luck... Will that shriveled mushroom ever get back to normal with only 65watts?
