Found something in my tank, not 100% sure what it is

Don't risk leaving them in the tank, good to take them out as soon as you can. There's a chance your gourami and rams will eat it, but better to be safe rather than sorry.

The damselfy larvae will get bigger and the shrimps are the first thing to be at risk.

I was lucky when I got mine out... I was trying to get it with a turkey baster but I scared it into.one of my rocks (I have dragon rock which has micro caves for shrimp and stuff) and I stabbed inside of there like a maniac... I probably looked like a phsyco. When he didint come out I stuck the turkey baster into the rock and kept pumping it... His dead and stabbed body went up the turkey baster.

I had 3 grow up without eating fish, and then fly around my fishroom for a few days in winter (I couldn't free them) while I hoped my partner wouldn't see them. They are predators, and how predatory will depend a lot on the species, which will depend on what's where you are, etc.

I can't see them escaping the tank having a lid over the top, hopefully if I don't catch it I'll just live it's life and die

There are many species of damselfly, some native to the UK, some not. They spend most of their lives in the aquatic larval stage, shedding their exoskeltons several times to grow larger and larger.
A damselfly expert may be able to ID which species you have, but the larvae all look the same to me

Whatever you do, remove them, those guys are not friendly and will hunt fish down.
