Some of you may know that I was after a harder Catfish/plec to live with my Jag as she'd already decided to kick her long time tank mate into submission (10" Gibby).
I'd been chatting to CFC about solutions i.e Syno's, Shark cats, etc and I was considering a 10" decorus he'd found but I went to Maidenhead aquatics in Henly today as I was passing nearby and there it was a 6" talking catfish living with 2 gr8 big Red devils so I guessed he was tough enough and Brought him home.
Hooray ...it looks good I put Cat in tank, Cupcake comes over and just stares at it then starts flaring and shaking his massive 13" frame  "oh no" I say out load but then the cat (Ralph) as I call him does his wiggly vibrating noisy bit and swims off leaving cupcake lookin like this  .
An hour has passed and they are getting on really well. Ralph is right under Cupcake and she isn't at all fussed.
Hooray

Is it a spotted or a striped? (at that size im presuming striped).Either way youll need to find it some friends, talking cats/raphael cats are communal fish and do best in groups of at least 3,by day they pile up like puppies all in one cave.
Good cleaner fish (although they dont eat algea) and amusing to watch, providing you dont mind sitting up half the night with a torch just to see them ,also have the handy habbit of eating snails.
Also intirely indestructable,if cupcake picks one of those up shell know about it,would be like headbutting a hedgehog wearing body armour.
