William I would just like to say well done on what appears to have been a seamless upgrade, I know how difficult that can be to achieve. I am sure it must have taken quite a lot of work, thanks.

On a lighter note though I am not sure I like the lighter colours you have applied but maybe that will grow on me like the wife's cooking

Umm, I'm not really sure what to think actually. To be honest, I don't see many improvements... I hate the skins and all that, and I can't search on member names anymore, which I personally find very annoying, seeing as this is how I used to always check and see if someone replied to any of my posts. Any chance of this coming back?

How about now (searching for member names). Also have you used my assistant for looking at threads you have posted in.

Also what skin did you use before the upgrade?

not sure about the skins i prefered the one i had. i like that there is an arrow button to go the the next page of threads i was always skiping to the last page of threads on the old format which was really annoying!

I like the sandy skin, i've got my forum skin set on it right now B) .

Sure you can, click on the 'search' button at the top, then click the 'more options' button on the search screen and there it is, a search screen just like it used to be.

something isn't working properly there....try searching for your name, for instance - this post doesnt even show up!

lol i must be crazy...this is what i get everytime i search...even after posting in at least half a dozen different topics today..i cleared my cookies and everything..

a "My Assistant" search for my last 10 posts, on the other hand shows "forum upgrade," "wild duckweed," "jumping dojos," "need some information," "bolivian rams," etc topics that i posted in today

I tried it william,can't use my name to search it won't work,so used yours, showed your posts up till the 15th july ,none after that,I think thats what abstract mean't its not showing the last few days posts.

I tried gaya's cause she's in this thread her posts up to 9.30 tonight showed up,but not her posts in this thread
