Welcome the the addictive worlds of foruming and fishkeeping! There is tons of good info here and if you can't find something don't be afraid to ask because there is a good chance that there is a thread on it somewhere.

Hello and :hi:

I'm glad to see you're doing research and joining a forum before you dive into fishkeeping. All I can say is take your time and don't rush this. You'll enjoy the hobby much more.

Well I haven't even got my tank and I have already got my NutraFin Mini Master Test Kit, so this already proves one thing - I have my priorities right!!

Im planning on doing a fishless cycle first, so im currently reading all about those! I haven't even thought about fish yet! I have had lots of offers of filter media and even 100 litres of water from where I work, but I would just like to start this from scratch, just so I really feel like I have achieved something!

just noticed your in chester mate im in newton if you ever need any help or mature filter media to kick start your fishless cycle give me a shout
scot :)
