i was just wondering dose anyone play football manager 2011 on here?

self confessed addict. Have been playing this since Championship Manager 91/92. It is has consued far too many days/weeks/months of my life.

FM 2011 - currently in season 2025 with an all-conquering Liverpool side. Babakar is a LEGEND.

i am in my second season atm.

i support middlesbrough but i am leeds in the game.

first season made it to the play off final and got beating by a 119th min penna so that didnt go down to well as u can imagine lol

just wonded if u knew ne good players to get for a lower league team?

and i hurd a few ppl name that Babakar as a unreal player like.

Have you heard of FM Genie Scout? Free programme you can use to scout all the players in the game but in ways you can't within the game itself. For example, you can scout by future potential (who will become the next World beaters?) or by 'sale price', i.e. the value that their club is willing to seel them for (avoid annying negotiations!).

just search for it and you'll find it.

have you played any of the FM series? If not.....I suggest you never do, they can be VERY addictive. Save yourself!

i love me some footy manager, i seem to play it in spurts, i'll forget about it for 2 months, then hammer it for 2 weeks, then forget about it. i like to mess with the editor to be honest. cheating i know, but its where i get my enjoyment. i put all my mates, and myself, in my team, slightly tweak some players ages, and obviously create Alan Shearer to partner me up front for Newcastle i get a luagh from doing that. in my latest game Michael Owen had 58 caps or something as a 17 year old

sometimes my created players leave, which is quite funny. i also like to occasionally blag it so that Norwich City get some benefit. though only as far as if say i had 10 bids for a player, and one was from Norwich, id reject all the others, to try and make norwich better. or i'll overpay them for a promising player.

i do still get great satisfaction from producing superstars through my youth system though. im playing FM 2010, waiting for the new one, my best result was producing a guy called Robbie Law, from schoolboy to retirement, played for England, worth 35M at his peak etc etc, totally dedicated to Newcastle. up front with me and Alan Shearer

OMG Truck you have never played FM or CM! Bloody hell, on FM 2011 I am in season 2024/2025 with still with Leeds.

thats quite impressive that like mate i just started again with arsenal i have played football manager and championship manager seems like forever lol

it is very adictive like.

I also should have added the Community Shield in 2024. FM 2011 is harder than the others IMO, more tactics and that lot are involved this time. The PL is hard for me to win with Leeds, I guess it would be easier with a team like Arsenal or Man City.
