Football 2009/10 Season Talk

Don't be getting excited just because Arsenal are sitting tops after 3 games  At the end of the day, its the title that matters, and i dont think that The Goonies will be able to keep that form up, they will slip as the season progresses

The only other team who look promising are Spurs. Just all my opinion of course..

Liverpool 1 - Aston Villa 3

Was watching the game and Liverpool were defensively abysmal, lacking any creativity upfront, as well as missing a number of chances when the scores were still 0-0...My mate sitting next to me, Pool fan, said that Liverpool only lost 2 games the whole of last season, hmmm

I think its gonna be Chelsea and Arsenal this year from what i have seen so far....Utd and Liverpool dont look strong enough collectivley.

Depends on how well Arsenal do against Utd this weekend tho...if Utd win then theres a good chance they will build momentum.

Eventful weekend in the premier league, most of the talk centres around a certain Emmanuel Adebayor. I had a negative impression of him before this weekend but even more so now. A highly talented player but a mischievous and malicious edge to him. Should he face a ban for inciting the crowd (he was booked) and/or his cowardly attack on RVP? I think he should as I believe he knew full well what he was doing and displayed this in the media build-up to the game.

Looking forward to ECL, Inter v Barca should be a cracker!!!

stamp on RVP was dispicable, but I thoroughly enjoyed the 90 yard sprint to the Arsenal fans, great bit of winding up!......he should be punished for it though.

Manchester derby is shaping up to be a must watch game.
