i know someones posted a simalar question before. But my BN pleco really wont eat his algae wafers im putting them in before i turn his light out at night i wake up and the wafers not been touched.
At the moment its very small about 3 cm and in a 6 gallon tank. Its not very often he comes out, its normaly behind the heater.
All thats in there is guppy fry and the pleco

Have you tried other foods? Is there algae in the tank he might be eating? Try feeding him peas which are good to help stop him getting constipated. Also green beans, zucchini, broccoli. 3cm is still small so although he might have a healthy appetite he really wouldn't eat that much. I have about 20 2-3cm plecs and it takes them a day to get through a couple of algae wafer.

Hope this helps
