Foam Board

i am thinking of putting a piece of black acrylic on the inside of my aquarium but have seen , extruded rigid PVC, closed cell foam sheet does any one know if this is sutable.

I used the pink board, Added and cut bits to it and off of it then applied resin and sand to it and siliconed it to inside of tank..
cant b****y see it now for the plants etc.
