well i started a 12 gallon nano and i want to add LR, being 15 i dont have much cash, so could i get 1KG or LR every week maybe then when i have about 6 start to take filter media out?
My LFS has LR but its not the best its like, well rock and its brown, but when i look into the tank there are these red worm things with white legs and other things all over it?

If you already have livestock in the tank then adding uncured live rock will start a cycle, which will probably result in their death. The red things with white spikes are bristleworms, and can cause problems along with stinging you, many people believe they can actually benefit a tank though. I would also wait until you have enough money to buy all the rock in one go, otherwise you will have more dieoff each time you add rock to the tank.

What do you have in the tank at the moment?
