Just been doing some research in my LFS before buying anything, as you do, and asked about the Vicenza 260.
Apparently the reason they are going so cheap at the moment is to get rid of stock (no surprises there). What did surprise is that there will be no replacement for the UK market at least as the cost of importing such large items is too high, they'd rather reduce what they supply.
I've not been told precisely which Fluval aquariums are being stopped other than the Vicenza. I imagine anything large is up for the axe.
I don't know if anyone in the aquarium trade can confirm this or knows more?
I'm actually quite frustrated now as they they seem to be the only suppliers doing a completely closed front cabinet - all the others have a middle open shelf, yet it also doesn't have a back except for the shelf. Why is nothing ever easy lol!
