Would it be ok to run a Fluval 3 and a Fluval 2 together on opposite sides of the tank with the out flow speed turned down ? Its my sisters tank and its 130L , She is just running the Fluval 2 along side the Fluval 3 while the media in the Fluval 3 matures ( the Fluval 2 has been running for about 6 months in a different tank.)

Will this not cause a whirlwind effect on the water and stress the fish?

It should be fine. If the fish seem stressed by the current, just turn it down. I'm quite sure they won't be bothered though.

Yeah I have a Fluval 2+ in my 35L it's very very good.
