I have a fluval shaker 168ltr tank which currently has 4 platies , 6 tetras and some live plants . The tank has a fluval smart app so you can set the lights (white, blue, green and red ). Does anyone have any idea on what percentages these lights should be on and the times they should be on/off at .
Ive attached the auto setup and the pro setup we have. Any guidance on what I need to be changing it to will be appreciated as I have no idea .
Ps - my tank has started getting brown algae and some of the live plants are looking great . Oh and seen a couple of fry fish this morning in the long fake grass (tetras seem obsessed with them )

Lights go on with me in morning 6am and off in evening 8pm at present. Once lighter evenings get here will drop lights a fair bit and let it be natural a tad more. I’m looking at your star trek app thing with graphs lines beeps whistles and not a clue lol

The app looks overly complicated. You should aim for around 7 hours of light in order to reduce algal growth however bits of brown algae are quite common and cannot really be avoided completely.

It’s very confusing.
So 7 hours of white light then ?
what about the blue , red and green ?. I physically have to input the percentages and what times I want each colour on and off for
