Today I set about fixing the lights on my fluval roma 240. I had an inkling that it was the starter fuse but wasn't sure. I've taken some pics so show everyone how to gain access to the lid and get a look at the lighting system
The Lid. The centre strip is removable but be warned it has clips and is glued. The clips are down either side and can be found by turning the who unit over
The starters are found at the opposite end to where the wiring enters the lid
I already had a few starters but here is the original one if you want like for like
I changed the started and checked out it worked before starting the clean up operation. The cover will NEVER go back on in the same way unless you removed the glue so take you time and get it all off
But be warned, either being careless or pressing too hard might just get you
I still haven't sealed it yet but there is a channel in which to put your silicone which seales the lid. I'm using a bathroom clear sealer as it doesn't go rock hard which will\ make life easier if I need to remove it again
I hope this helps anyone and if there are any questions which I haven't covered then drop me a message
